TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. The Promoter of this competition is Vodacom (Pty) Ltd ("the Promoter").
2. The competition starts on 20 February 2009 and ends on 31st October 2009. Entries received outside of the competition period will not be considered for the competition draw. The draw will take place on the Monday 2nd November 2009
3. Entrants to this competition agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions.
4. All information relating to this competition and published on any promotional material will form part of the terms and conditions of entry.
5. The competition is open to all South African citizens except Employees, directors and agents of the Promoter, their immediate families, life partners, business partners and associates and any person directly involved with the devising, production, management or marketing of this competition are not eligible to participate in this competition.
6. The judges' decision on any aspect of the competition including the allocation of the prize will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
7. If the Promoter is required by the Minister of Trade and Industry or the National Lotteries Board to alter any aspect of this competition or to terminate the competition as a result of changes in legislation, the Promoter will have the right to terminate this competition with immediate effect and without notice of such termination. In such event all entrants hereby waive any rights which they may have against the Promoter and acknowledge that they will have no recourse or claim of any nature whatsoever against the Promoter, its agents, contractors and/or sponsors.
8. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate or alter this competition (including any prize) at any time and without notice and shall not be liable for any claims whatsoever arising out of such cancellation, termination or alterations. The Promoter further reserves the right to terminate this competition immediately and without notice in the event that the competition is held to be or becomes unlawful.
9. Neither the Promoter nor any other person or party associated with the competition shall be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever incurred or suffered (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss), or personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with either participation in this competition or with any prize offered.
10. Neither the Promoter (including its employees) nor its agents shall be responsible for any lost or misdirected entries, including entries that were not received due to any failure of hardware, software, or other computer or technical systems
11. By entering the competition, entrants agree to accept these rules and to be bound by them.

Terms and conditions:

1. The prize-winners by accepting the prize, assign to the Promoters all rights to publish their names and photographs in any promotion, print, point-of-sale or public relations material for a period of 12 (twelve) months from 20 February 2009. The prize-winners may be required to appear and be identified in or on national and regional media at no fee. The prize-winners may be required to give their consent in writing to endorse, promote and/or advertise any services of the Promoters.
2. The prizes are not transferable, exchangeable and may not be redeemed for cash and if not taken up for any reason, may be forfeited or be the subject of a separate draw or be allocated at the Promoters' discretion to another winner.
3. The Promoters reserve the right to replace the prize with other prizes of similar or lesser commercial value.

Privacy:

1. Any private information supplied will be kept secure and will not be shared with any third party. Email addresses and cellphone numbers supplied will be used to communicate to registered and entered users to update them regarding Vodacom Player23, Super 14 and rugby in general.
2. The Locker and competition entry mechanism allow users to invite their friends by entering their friend's email addresses. These friends will receive a once-off invitation email from Vodacom Player23 on behalf of their friend. These email addresses will never be shared with any third party nor will it be used in any communication from Vodacom Player23 unless the friend registered by downloading the Locker or entering the competition.
3. Vodacom Player23 takes no responsibility for any misuse by any person, institution or party of any nature of the Locker, competition entry mechanisms and the player23.co.za website.
